2017: Changing Times

After 11 years being associated with the amazing Tron Theatre in Glasgow (2006-2011 Freelance Practitioner, 2011-2013 part time Drama Officer, 2013-2017 full time Creative Learning Officer) it was time to move on to the next chapter.

The Tron has been a huge part in my development as an artist and I feel like I 'served my time' there. Learning with every year that went by. The amazing Team Tron taught me to keep my head down and work hard. To ask questions and strive to be the best!

I may not be a member of staff any more but it will always hold a dear place in my heart.

So whats the next challenge I hear you ask......

I am 8 weeks into my new post as Arts Development Officer for Culture NL. This post brings me back to grass roots community projects. With the remit of Drama and Music I have the task of developing and delivering the Youth Theatre provision as well as looking to develop more early years and adult provision. Alongside this I am also developing and managing the music provision so busy times ahead - be sure to watch this space!

I was completely unaware at how much the Arts Development team delivered and have spent the last 8 weeks amazed at the volume of classes and projects on offer across North Lanarkshire.
